Can’t wait for Heaven?
Question – Whats the first thing that comes to your mind when you think of Heaven? I mean the very first thing, not the thing you think about after you think about it or reconsider it even briefly but the initial thought you had when you read the question.
Was it a state of sinlessness? Streets of Gold? Mansions? Clouds maybe? Was it Christ? I often relise that while there will be many awesome and wonderful things in heaven, things to look forward to, the fact that i am going to be with Jesus, my God and my savior should be my first and primary exhausting thought of being in Heaven. We are not only commanded but now given the capacity to Love God with all our heart, mind, soul and strength. He should be the focus of our primary affections both now and future.
One of my resolutions this year is to Love the person of Jesus more and to pray that God would grow my love and desire to be with him one day and also to practically cultivate that love and passion. I want Christ to be my first thought when i think of heaven, what else could i need?
So, what did you think of?

What about our families? Shouldn’t they be the focus of our attention? What of our wives, who in this day and age are allowed to take charge and support their families. Shouldn’t we not give them our gratitude? How about making the future brighter for our children on this world, shouldn’t we not focus on this instead of focusing all attention on some deity in the sky which could not even be real?
There is so much more in life to focus on and perhaps you are the selfish ones for wanting to love God and Jesus more over your families and the world. Sure we may go to Heaven, Hell, or even nowhere when we die. But what is surely important is what we currently do in this world to make it a better place, to make it a better place for our children and their future children.
It’s time to stop focusing on such fantasies of Heaven and start creating our own Heaven before we all die as everyone shall come across sooner than later.
My brothers, it’s time to united as one and start building our own personal Heaven.

For the bible was never meant to be taken as the literal word of the lord. For this book was nothing more but a collection of stories. Sure some of them maybe full of violence, sex, and others that maybe considered wrong in today’s world. However we shouldn’t look to this book as the point of fact, but as good fiction that taught us all how to live by.
For this is surely what the bible is, for it is just a book of morals who act as a guideline for everyday life. Not to be taken literally or as fact. Not for all of the wrongs in the bible to be focused on, but teach us good morals such as ‘love thy neighbor’ and ‘respect others’.
For this is the meaning of inner peace.

For even though you should respect the deity you wish to believe in, you should always respect those around you no matter if their atheist or another religion other than yourself. For if your God is all forgiving, you would love to see you act this way also. Because if we cannot get along in this world, we shall never have peace.
