Where do we go from here? Christian Video games
Let’s face it, computer games are fun. Whether it’s mario’s rock hard fist of brick bashing, turtle genocide or your latest World of ‘I forgot to eat this week’ Warcraft, we all like to play games even if ‘Space Cadet Pinball’ and ‘Spider Solitare’ are the only games you can afford!
But when it comes to Christian computer games are only options seem to be either killing demons or filling Noah’s 2d ark…..don’t ask.
It’s almost a bit of an embarrassment, much like Christian movies. It’s not that we are embarrased about the morality etc but generally the quality and creativity is lacking, unlike music where we seem to flourish.
So my question is “Is there a chance?” Does Christian gaming have any hope of producing something that fits the bill. Can something be produced that will have the moral standard Christian media needs coupled with a level of entertainment that is engaging and even something that will leave you edified after playing.
Got any ideas? Know any games?

I don’t know if there is a chance for any Christian video games. I think it is ironic that you posted this. I actually was talking about this with a few buddies of mine the yesterday. Maybe a Christian video game could be one where we have to search for scrolls…. Probably not though, I think this is an area where we as Christians just might not be able to compete with the world, and actually may have no need to.

infact i have the utmost faith there is . . .
christian games are already out there people just dont know it. . every game you pick up becouse of your mindset as a christian. . . is a “christain game”
from final fantasy 10 the enemy is “sin” i mean cmon.. . .
my point is we can make christian games that appeal to the world but arent called christian. . .
I dont know exactly how yet but with gods help i will start a company and produce a game that the world LOVES becouse it helps to teach them to love. . .
